I was planning to close my space & delete this page but I don't know why when I came to this page again I felt like writing something...& Toonfactory is back to MSN spaces...

Well as they say Changes never Change...There are many changes in my life too....

Now I am in Mumbai...working as a freelance writer & cartoonist...will upload some of my new works on my Flickr page soon...to find more bout what I am doing plz check my page on flickr....

Watched many films...moved to a New falt recently...bought a Laptop so that I'll be more active on online front...I know I am not doing something that's gonna keep people glued to my pages but still I am trying to do something different, other than what I was doing in MSN Spaces...

hope this wont be my last Blog on this page...& I'll keep on adding new stuff every now n then...

To bhai wo kehte hain na ki jinko koi kaam nahi hota wo sabse zyada busy hote hain zindagi mein…bas waise hi main bhi zara busy tha…Movies dekhi dher saari..went to Mysore to cover the Royal Mysore Dussara…Celebrated B’day on 11^th of Oct..i.e. Day before yesterday…No chhutti for Diwali..so this Diwali I am here in Bangalore…all alone...I am extreamly sorry that I wasn't able to reply to your msgs Blogbuddies as I wasn't active here...chalo now I am back & will be posting regularly..

As I said earlier I am still waiting for Farhan Akhtar's Don-The Chase Begins Again was waiting eagerly for the music of the movie but as the music is released & I am really disappointed with Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's work. Being an avid fan of them I'd expected lot more from them but their music is really bad esp. 2 songs that they tried to recreate are the worst. Ye Mera Dil & Khaike Paan Banaraswala...after watching Kareena Kapoor doing cheap imitation of Helen's Dance Steps in Yeh Mera Dil...I am really scared of what SRK is gonna do with Khaike Paan Banaraswala...Farhan we expected much more..why Kareena???

Woooooooooooooo finally I got Ek Chidiya Video....Vijay yaar I wont bug U more for that...saw Lagey Raho MunnaBhai...1st decent sequel in India..though making sequels isn't a new concept to Bollywood. Kishore Kumare made a sequel to Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi called Chalti Ka Naam Zindagi...(Don't get confused Badhti Ka Naam Dadhi wasnt a sequel)...Raj Kapoor wanted to make a sequel to Mera Naam Joker....Harmesh Malhotra's Nigahen(1989) was a sequel to his 1986 blockbuster Nagina..D a prequel to Comapny...Phir Hera Pheri...Krrish...but for the first time in the history of Bollywood I've seen a movie that matches the benchmark its prequel has set.The chemistry between Munnabhai & Circuit is much more improved the storyline has everything that MunnaBhai MBBS had...there are scenes wh n you have tears in your eyes with a smile on your face...Rajkumar Hirani proved we can make great sequels...to be really honest Roshan & Co disappointed me very badly. Anyway movies I am looking forward are Don, D:2, Kabul Express, Guru have heard RGV's Sholay will be releasing by this year end..but I am really not excited for  RGV version of Sholay...U cant improve such a perfect storyline & if you can't improve then it's better not to try your hands on something that's as big as Sholay...SHOLAY remains relevant Kal Bhi Aaj Bhi-Aaj Bhi Kal Bhi... 

Lambi Chhutti ke baad I am back..though I reached Bangalore last week only but had too many work pending. I was really excited to add a blog on something that happened to me...though poori journey hi aisi rahi that I can add blogs after blogs but this one was really interesting..had a chat with my 7 year old cousin who wanted to watch certain channel that I wasn't interested in watchin & we had a lil fight...a pro emotional blackmailer he asked me "Jab aap mere jitne bade the tab aapke bade bhai aapke saath aisa karte to aapko kaisa lagta...." I laughed & told him we had just one channel when I was 7...He wasn't ready to accept the fact...anyway I told him about Ek Chidiya animated filler from NFDC Directed by Bhim Sen well known a film Director for Movie Gharaonda is still the No1 Animated film in my list of Fav animation & no The Incredibles can beat the nostalgic effect of Suraj Ek Chanda Ek Taare Anek...long back when Ekta Kapoor was still in her teens & no Saas-Bahoo drama existed there used to be only one TV with only one Channel Doordarshan..do you remember how eagerly we on the TV sets waiting eagerly for that Saare Jahaan Se Achha tune that came just before the morning/afternoon/evening transmission started....D'u remember those days of Vikram Vikram Vikram Vetal Vetal Vetal with Arun Govil as Vikram & Liliput as Vetal come on TV...or remember the Kamini Kaushal's puppet shows every afternoon after which she told how to make a puppet???or the UGC Programme on TV...do you still remember we never had Live broadcast of Cricket Matches???? what about those New Year Programmes every 31st December where we used to get a rare glimpse of stars as there were not much filmy shows except a few like Show theme??? Do you remember the Buland Bharat Ki Buland Tasweer Humara Bajaj Ad??? hmm lets see what else i can remember from my time as a kid:

Hey hello..I am back..kahin gaya nahi tha bus zara busy tha...watched lotsa movies...Superman Returnz...awesome...Krrish was the biggest disaster of the year except for Hritik there was nothing worth watching..(not even Priyanka Chopra)..god knows from where Hritik got the conviction to do that role??was it just becuase it was his Dad's movie??anyways guys let's welcome 1st Indian Superhero...But I dunno humare yahaan ki audience ko hua kya hai..everyone liked KRRISH..I am waiting for OMKARA...bought lotsa DVDs & watched some really awesome movies like 1978 Blockbuster Superman The MOvie...M.Night Shyamlan's Unbreakable a new definition to real life Superhero Concept...loved the way Bruce Willis' Character is narrated...Samuel L.Jackson is as good as always..loved Russel Crowe in The Cindrella Man..watched 1999 Asterix movie Astérix et Obélix contre César now I am looking forward to watch their adventure with Cleopatra...no one can beat Monica Belucci for the role...badluck the DVD isnt available in India as of now....Watched Over The Hedge & to be honest, I wasn't able to find anything great in the movie except kickass animation...the movie lacked story...

*I remember the lines from the song John Jaani Janardan from Amitabh Bachchan starrer Naseeb-Angrezi Ho Ya Desi..Filmein Sabhi Maine Dekhi....kaash mere paas bhi itna waqt hota ki mai bhi Saari filmein dekh sakta....khair mere naseeb me ye hai ke nahi...pata nahi...
Meanwhile(a word without which I don't think a Comic Book can be made) I baught BONE-Complete Collection By Jeff Smith..check his website Boneville & you'll fall in love with the character...coincidently Smith's wife Vijaya is of Indian Origin..
Now a good news I've got a promotion last month...& 2nd Good News my Chhutti is approved & I am going home to join my family on a trip to Rajasthan...I still remember my 1st visit to Rajasthan in the year 2000...have baught hell lotta CDs n DVDs can't wait to watch all of them but can't do that until I am back..
But my webspace will be getting updated regularly as writing & posting Blogs from my cell is the best thing to do during the long journey..so keep visiting..

Hmm again News Channels got something great to stretch & cover all through the Day...The Semi Nude Item Gal & almost forgotten Punjabi Pop Singer's smooch story...News aren't news these days..they are over hyped & creatively designed stories now a days...no wonder Soap Queen Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms will soon venture into producing News Features after all they are the pioneers in the field of stretching a 10 minute story into a year long daily soap...afterall we Indians are now getting used to new terminology like 3rd Semi Finals(Courtesy:The Great Indian Comedy Challange) coined by these TVwallahs...for last few days it was Rahul Mahajan & Co as our TV superstars now it's Rakhi Sawant(The Bhartiya Naari) & Mika (Punjabi Pop Da babbar Sher)....Himesh & his cap/stubble looks are still on News Channels...what about the resrvation thing???? What about the Docs who died during the protests??? News is a commodity now...it's sold...they have to supply news to meet the demand...

Though I would be cribbin rather adding this blog to my space as this is Saturday Night...I am sitting on my office comp...worked till 9:00 in the night..anyway here is a good news..my friend Apernit Singh is Channel V's next Big Thing this month...catch his song Dhoondhoon Kahaan &  Khamoshiyan on all the Music Channels..check his website www.apernit.com for details...

I was trying hard to add a new blog on my space for quiet a long time..for last couple of weeks...but all I was doing, was start writing a new blog & ending up, deleting that..finally I gave up the idea & left my webspace as it was...I felt so bad that I stopped browsing spaces or responding to the comments...what's the problem with me?? God knows!!! until I had a long chat with Jahnvee this Sunday & found the reason for being unable to add a new blog. Every time I started writing a blog that ended up to be a I am not Happy BLOG & it was better not to write complains over & over again on the blog.......

Finally I sat just to make a list of good things that happened to me in last few days..

for a change let me not crib about the situations getting worse everyday...the best thing that happened to me in last few days is getting a new DVD player & thanks to my friend with great DVD collection, these days I am spending my leisure in watching classics...& day before yesterday I was fortunate enough to get a DVD of Roberto Benigni's 1997 classic LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL...a really beautiful movie on Holocaust...Beautiful & Holocaust...IT IS!!!!!!!!!If you haven't seen, just go get a DVD first...

Second best thing was, getting a vacation to spend time with the family....wait….wait...

There is another good news..My Bro is coming to visit me this Sunday..

Though there is s**t load of work....fighting for the survival...fighting for a chance to grow...suffocation....still LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL...

SEE KAVIYATRI I AM NOT COMPLAINING THIS TIME....

A long word that’s always running away from the Dreamers….& this is a confession of a real dreamer called Alok….ya I am totally unsatisfied with what I am doing, with my lifestyle…I can never think of  compromise on any level….dreamers never compromise & that’s the biggest problem not only for the dreamer but also for the world….

I am really getting frustroo now…I feel like I am not on the right track….I am on the track that will never lead me to my dreamland..my aim..my ambition…..I don’t know when I’ll get the right opportunity to show what I have to offer..till then…
